Rodríguez González, Janis Berenice Instituto de Astronomía y Meteorología Adding the analysis of physical properties to the 3D analysis pipeline for integral field spectroscopy of nova shells. The NOVAVISTA (Nova Visualization Tool and Analysis) pipeline handles integral field spectroscopy (IFS) observations to produce three-dimensional (3D) visualizations of nova shells. Its recent completion at the IAA has allowed its application to a sample of 19 nova shells, yielding the first catalogue of 3D structures of these fast expanding nebulae (Rodríguez-González et al. 2026, accepted for publication by A&A). This research visit aims to develop a new NOVAVISTA module to add information on the electron density to its 3D visualization capability of the physical structure of a nova shell. The new module will compute the electron density 3D distribution from emission-line diagnostics and combine it with the nebula 3D rendering to visualize both simultaneously. The project will be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Edgar Santamaría (Universidad de Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico), who developed the original 3D visualization pipeline. The nova Sgr2015b (aka V5668 Sgr) will be used as the primary test case, exploiting the available VLT MUSE NFM observations to produce the first combined 3D reconstruction of the spatio-kinematic physical structure and physical conditions of a young nova shell.
